FAQ
Can I extend my stay on a DTV?
Each entry gives a set period of stay, and an extension may be requested once at an immigration office under current rules. Leaving and re-entering starts a new period within the visa's validity.
Do I pay Thai tax on a DTV?
Tax depends on residence days and remitted income, not the visa type. Speak to a Thai tax adviser if you stay 180 days or more in a year.
