Accounting and Tax for Companies Employing Foreigners in Thailand: What Affects Visa Renewal

When foreigners renew work visas, immigration and the Department of Employment usually look at the company's records: audited financial statements, monthly withholding tax for foreign staff (PND 1) and social security for Thai employees. Late or inconsistent accounts stop a renewal. Accounting and tax are handled by THAILAW, our affiliate; we make sure both sets of documents match.
We do not publish company service prices. Ask our team for a case-specific quotation; official fees remain those announced by the authority on the filing date.
Accounting documents often requested at renewal
Exact lists vary by office and visa type.
- Latest financial statements and PND 50
- Monthly PND 1 showing foreign staff salaries
- PND 91 of the foreign employee
- Social security filings showing Thai headcount
- PP 30, if VAT-registered
How the work is split

How we work, step by step
- Check current filings. Tax and social security up to date?
- Compare with visa criteria. Salary, capital and Thai headcount.
- Refer to the affiliated accountants. Bookkeeping, closing and tax filing.
- Assemble the renewal set. Global Visa Service prepares the immigration and labour filings.
Questions we are asked most
Can we keep our current accountant?
Yes. We list exactly what to request from them for the renewal.
Can the salary declared to immigration differ from tax filings?
It should not. Figures must match across every document.
Do you publish prices or guarantee the outcome?
No. We quote after looking at your documents and situation, and every decision is made by the Thai authority concerned. We will tell you plainly when we think a plan is weak.
