Lawyers for Foreigners in Thailand: Contracts, Wills, Family Matters and Disputes

Anything requiring legal advice — contracts, wills, divorce, child custody or litigation — must be handled by a lawyer. Global Visa Service does not give legal opinions or represent clients in court. We handle the surrounding document work: translating contracts and judgments, notarising signatures and copies, and MFA certification. Lawyer work is referred to THAILAW, our affiliate, or to a lawyer of your choice.
We do not publish company service prices. Ask our team for a case-specific quotation; official fees remain those announced by the authority on the filing date.
Matters that usually need a lawyer
Many have cross-border effects, so both Thai law and the other country's law matter.
- Business, lease and employment contracts
- Wills and estates in Thailand
- Marital property, divorce and custody
- Disputes and Thai court cases
What we handle directly
Legal translation, notarisation of signatures and copies, affidavits, and MFA or embassy certification.
Accounting, tax and lawyer work is handled by THAILAW (thailaw-accounting.co.th), our affiliated firm. Global Visa Service handles visas, work permits, translation and document certification, so you have one point of contact with the right specialist on each part.
How we work, step by step
- Outline the matter. Lawyer work or document work?
- Refer to a lawyer. THAILAW or your own lawyer.
- Prepare supporting documents. Translated and certified as the lawyer or court requires.
- Keep your status in order. Visa and stay during the matter.
Questions we are asked most
Can I consult Global Visa about divorce or a lawsuit?
We do not give legal opinions. We refer you to a lawyer and handle related translation and certification.
Must I use the affiliated lawyers?
No. We work with any lawyer you choose.
Do you publish prices or guarantee the outcome?
No. We quote after looking at your documents and situation, and every decision is made by the Thai authority concerned. We will tell you plainly when we think a plan is weak.
