Thai Company Affidavit and Corporate Documents: Translation and Legalisation

อ่านภาษาไทย (Thai version)

Company document translation and certification

Thai company registration documents — the company affidavit, list of shareholders and memorandum — are issued by the Department of Business Development. For use abroad they are usually translated into English, signed by the authorised director, and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sometimes followed by the destination embassy. Receiving banks often want them recently issued.

We do not publish company service prices. Ask our team for a case-specific quotation; official fees remain those announced by the authority on the filing date.

Signatures and authority

The MFA certifies signatures it can verify. Board resolutions and powers of attorney signed by directors often need notarisation or a certifying signature first. We check who signs and in what capacity before translation.

  • Recent DBD-certified company documents
  • Director's ID or passport
  • Board resolution or letter stating the purpose

How we work, step by step

  1. Clarify purpose. We confirm what the foreign bank or partner wants and how recent it must be.
  2. Order certificates. The company obtains certified DBD documents.
  3. Translate. We translate with company and director names matching existing English records.
  4. Sign and certify. Directors sign as required; we arrange MFA certification.
  5. Legalise. We file at the destination embassy if it requires legalisation.

Questions we are asked most

Does the DBD issue English documents?

Some certificates are available in English; the receiving body may still want certification.

Do you publish prices or guarantee acceptance?

No. We quote after seeing the documents, and acceptance is decided by the office that receives them.
