Notarising a Signature in Thailand for Use Abroad

Signature notarisation means an authorised person watches you sign, checks your identity and certifies the signature is yours. In Thailand this is done by lawyers registered with the Lawyers Council as notarial services attorneys. Not every country or office accepts it; some want you to sign at their embassy instead, so ask the receiving office first.
We do not publish company service prices. Ask our team for a case-specific quotation; official fees remain those announced by the authority on the filing date.
It certifies the signature, not the content
The certifier confirms who signed, not whether the document is legally effective. For documents with significant legal effect, have a lawyer review the content first.
- Attend in person with original ID
- Do not sign in advance
- Names must match your ID or passport
Further steps
Many destinations then want MFA certification and embassy legalisation. We plan the full chain from the start.
How we work, step by step
- Ask the receiving office. Confirm which form of certification it accepts.
- Check the document. Names, signature blocks and pages to certify.
- Sign before the certifier. Bring original ID.
- Further certification. MFA and embassy if required.
- Hand over. With scans of every page.
Questions we are asked most
Can it be done remotely?
Usually signing is in person; remote options depend on what the destination accepts.
How is this different from embassy notarisation?
An embassy certifies on behalf of its own country; some offices accept only that.
Do you publish prices or guarantee the outcome?
No. We quote after looking at your documents and situation, and every decision is made by the Thai authority concerned. We will tell you plainly when we think a plan is weak.
