APEC Business Travel Card for Thai Nationals: Eligibility, Documents and Renewal

อ่านภาษาไทย (Thai version)

APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) for Thai business travellers

The APEC Business Travel Card lets genuine business travellers make short business visits to APEC economies that have pre-cleared them, without a separate business visa each time, and use dedicated immigration lanes at many airports. Each economy approves the holder individually and only approved economies appear on the card; transitional members still require visas. The card is not a work permit.

We do not publish company service prices. Ask our team for a case-specific quotation; official fees remain those announced by the authority on the filing date.

Who it suits

Executives and business owners who travel often for meetings, negotiations, trade fairs and site visits. The company must be real and active, and the applicant must show international business activity.

  • Passport with sufficient validity
  • Company certificate and evidence of your position
  • Evidence of international trade, such as contracts or invoices
  • Endorsement from a business organisation where required

Plan renewals early

Renewal needs fresh pre-clearance from each economy, which takes time. Apply months ahead and keep a normal visa as backup for important trips. A new passport must be linked to the card before travel.

How we work, step by step

  1. Check eligibility. We review your role, company and travel pattern.
  2. Prepare personal and company documents. Both sets must tell the same story.
  3. Submit. Through the receiving authority and channel announced at the time.
  4. Track approvals. Each economy pre-clears on its own timeline.
  5. Collect and diarise renewal. Check the economies listed before your first trip.

Questions we are asked most

Can I travel to every APEC economy?

Only those printed on your card. Transitional members still require visas.

Can I work abroad on the card?

No. It covers short business visits only.

Do you publish prices or guarantee the outcome?

No. We quote after looking at your documents and situation, and every decision is made by the Thai authority concerned. We will tell you plainly when we think a plan is weak.
